Weekly Photo Challenge – Inspiration

Standard

What inspires me? Writing is source of Inspiration for me, but what prompts me to write? It is the beautiful empty journal, the pen. More than that, it is beauty and nature. Today, let’s walk with Mr. Peacock and get inspired. 🙂

Freedom Friday – Nature 2

Standard

Some weeks back we had gone to play with nature but I didn’t post all the pictures. Today, I’m posting some more and besides it’s Freedom Friday so I get to do anything I like whilst secretly hoping you would enjoy it too.

img_0832By the way, Seasoned Sistah 2 is taking a journey down her overcoming all the stress from battling with Rheumatoid Arthritis, the side effects of the drugs, and a journey to come out victorious. It’s a journey and we will walk with her through this LiveJournal. I won’t say much, you’d need to read it up for yourself about this amazing woman that defies pain and fear and is still standing.

Reading through her Freedom Friday, she listed spending a little time with nature, so we will give her a bit of nature today! Hope you like it Seasoned Sistah 2.

Freedom Friday – Nature

Standard

Last week Saturday I had great fun with my departmental peeps. Holla @hospitality guys…you are the best team ever! But the highlights of that outing for me was the Canopy Walk. It was my first and definitely not my last. I was praying seriously under my breath whenever the ropes felt shaky and at the same time thanking God that I left the children in the hall and on the field with other children. As I thought to myself, what would I have told King if I carried King Earl and we climbed up and he started crying, wanting to get down…imagining that scene is giving me frights already. So lets leave it at that.

As you can see, I’m glad I did the trip! Here’s to all the brave people that did the walk regardless of their inner fears. You might not know, but you conquered an ‘enemy’ that day and it will be in the history books that you made it! Way to go Obehi, Jessica and Ogoo! LOL

Want to be part of this? Here’s what to do #freedomfriday
