Moving On…

“Keep walking” was the command I got? A bit confused I queried my heart.
Perhaps, He said “working”. “No, Keep Moving” was My word!
Relieved, though unsure. I obeyed and received His peace!

What do you see?

The past holds patches of green and rocks
The present, a gap connecting us with the tough
Future all white and dressed in glam, but no feat for a lamb.

Ride

This week with Ronovan on his Decima Challenge

On the wings of the wind take flight
The one I love, together ride
Taking in scenes with so much pride
All that gives me pure delight
Saved me from unknown midnight blight
Moving made easy, love’s busy!
“Keep still or you’ll get too dizzy”
You show off and make memories…
adding glow to our lives’ stories
A complete ride, nothing risky!

Stay

How do I resist the word, stay?
Turn back on a call to remain,
I weighed it, there seems to be gain
But will it suffice my day’s pay?
Surely, there’s more to life, today
Digging, I searched beyond the seen
Moved fast across places I’ve been!
It’s not just the word, but desire
That keeps me burning this fire!
…and fruits of obedience glean

As if he senses my weariness in maintaining my routine, Ronovan says STAY, that’s the topic for this week’s Decima Challenge

Prize

It’s a long road to victory

One that cost us family hours

And an end to smell the flowers

If you must, win! Make history!

Be a part of today’s story.

Don’t let anyone make you sigh,

As they all connivingly vie.

Will you attempt to jeopardize

Or willingly pay for the Prize?

All it takes to see you rise high!

That’s how this week went with Ronovan Décima Poetry Challenge.

Watching as you Celebrate

Celebration is a time to let go and lose your mind (in a way). But there are certain Celebrations you have to watch, as you do. “Which ones”, you ask, I leave that choice to you! Thank you Colleen

Wind of Grace

I’m not sure how the wind goes with grace, because it is a contradiction like an irony. But hey, just so you know, that there’s grace for you right in the midst of that storm.

Another attempt at Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday…loving it.

Shape of the Heart

My friend Colleen invited me to join her Tanka Tuesday, this is my first attempt at it. all hearts are meants be in line with a steady beat to be termed healthy. But some hearts, probably all hearts, are shaped by every thing they have gone through or are going through. This is my thought on the two words.

Reward in Trial

It’s been a while but I love my Haiku and Haiku #118 Reward & Trial looks delicious to write!

Hello Ronovan, what do you think?

Judgment Calls

Sombre faces here

A sign of likely reward

When trials go bad

The Faith walk

As each day unfolds

Test arise to try your Faith

Hold on, there’s reward
